Chief of Army Staff General Waker-uz-Zaman paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna today.

During the meeting, the Army Chief briefed the Chief Adviser on overall security measures for Eid-ul-Fitr, focusing on key areas such as roads, launch terminals, train stations, and bus stands, according to an ISPR press release.

The discussion also covered the Bangladesh Army’s initiative to organize Iftar and Doa-Mahfil in all cantonments nationwide, honoring those injured in the July mass uprising.

General Waker-uz-Zaman extended Eid greetings in advance, while Prof. Yunus praised the army's professionalism and reaffirmed its role in safeguarding national security.
