MYMENSINGH: Three suspected dacoits were killed by angry mobs when they were conducting robbery in Rajabari in Kalir Bazar of Trishal upazila in Mymensingh on Friday night.

They were identified as Saiful Islam, 35, son of Lokman Qari of the village, Abdul Mannan, 32, and Abul Kalam, 33, from Gafargaon upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Trishal Thana Firoj Talukder informed banglanews that the robbers were mugging valuables from passengers stopping vehicles at Rajbari area.

Locals captured and beat them, leaving Saiful and Mannan dead on spot and Kalam seriously injured, he added.

Then Kalam was rushed to Trishal upazilla health complex where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police sent their bodies to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for autopsy, he added.
