MOULVIBAZAR: Miscreants set fire in a rubber garden at Agatila area in Rajnagar Upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.

Sources said that some miscreants set fire in the 32-acre garden adjacent to Rajanagar Tea garden. Locals doused the fire with their own efforts.

Confirming the matter Rajnagar Tea Garden Manager Aminul Islam told banglanews, “The fire gutted the rubber garden completely and property damaged worth around Tk 5 crores”.

A general diary (GD) was filed in this connection, he added.
