KHULNA: Two dacoits had been lynched by angry mob at Dumuria upazila of the district on Tuesday noon.

The deceased were indentified as Joni Elahi Khaza, 35 and Mostakim Gazi, 33.

Sources said that some 10/12 dacoits went to the area of the upazila to rob. Then locals cordoned the gang of dacoits and locals beat four of the dacoits and beat them, leaving them critically injured.

Later, the injured dacoits were rushed to Dumuria Upazila Health Complex where two of them succumbed to their injuries around 2:00pm.

Dumuria Thana Officer-in-Charge confirmed the matter to banglanews.
