DHAKA: Three members of a family were burnt as a television set exploded in Kalsi road area of Mirpur in city on Tuesday morning.

The injured are -Arif, 30, Minara Begum, 30 and Monowar, 40.

Sources said that the incident took place around 7:00am in the area when Minara Begum and Monowar went to buy clothes.

Confirming the matter Pallabi Thana Officer-in-Charge Ziauddin told banglanews, “Police visited to the spot and sent the injured to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.”
