NARANGANJ: Law enforcement agency arrested Jahagir Alam Ripon, a close associate of gruesome Naraynagaj seven-murder case prime accused Nur Hossain, from Siddirganjpool area of the city on Tuesday.

Ripon, who reportedly controlled Nur’s waterway-extortion side, was detained in thana area in the noon and an accused of several extortion cases.

Siddirganj Thana Officer-In-Charge M Alauddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
