DHAKA: The kotoali Thana is taking preparation to present Hasan Imam, son of arrested Jamaat leader Kamaruzzaman, Hasan Jamil, son of arrested Quader Mollah and his two son in law Jahirul Islam and Mohibulla before the court for a 7-day remand.

Ataur Rahman, operation officer (SI) of Kotoali Thana confirmed that they would be presented before the court on Thursday.

Wednesday afternoon police arrested them form court premises as they created chaos during the hearing of Jamaat leader Kamaruzzaman and Hasan Jamil’s remand. Police also arrested three Jamaat workers Mashfur Rahman Jitu, Mushfikur Rahman and Nurul Haq then. They were shown arrested under section 54.

OC of Kotoali Salahuddin said seven people were arrested Wednesday including two sons of Jamaat leaders. They were engaged in creating chaos, he added.

At about 11 pm, Ataur Rahman told our bangalnews24.com.bd correspondent that all preparation was complete to produce Hasan Imam, Hasan Jamil, Jahirul Islam and Mohibulla before the court for a 7-day remand.

 
Shibir leader arrested

Meanwhile Detective branch of police has arrested Golam Mortaja, central social welfare and cultural secretary of Islami Chhatraa Shibir form Dhanmoni Lake area Wednesday night.

Assistant police commissioner of DB Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the arrest incident to our correspondent.

Recently several anarchy allegation cases are filed against him said Abul Kalam.
