COMILLA: The body of BGB Nayek Mizanur Rahman has reached at his village home Boisherkut-Velanagar village of Mohanpur union under Debidhar upazila of the district on Monday noon.

Some BGB high officials including regional commander Anisur Rhaman has taken the body by an ambulance.

He will be buried with the due state honour there. 

Earlier, Mizanur’s body reached at Chandina upazila field by a special helicopter from Bandarban. 

Mizanur’s first namaz-e-janaza was held at Naikkhangchari BGB-31 Battalion office premises on Monday morning.

The namaz-e janaza finished at 9:08am. 

BGB-31 Battalion all officers and colleagues of Mizanur attended the janaza. 

Earlier on Friday, BGP exchanged fire with BGB in Naikkhangchari frontier near international pillar no-52 at Panchhari border after BGP denied handing over the body of BGB member, whom they shot dead on Wednesday after abduction.
