DHAKA: Police detained four fake DB police personnel from Banani mosque area in capital on Monday morning.

The detainees are- Mamun, Abu Bakar, Mostafa Kamal and AL-Amin Dipu. 

Sources said that a man was returning office around 11:00am withdrawing money from an ATM Booth. Then the fake DB police riding on a microbus stopped him and tried to abduct the man.

Later, locals rushed to the spot and caught the fake policemen.

Banani Outpost Officer-in-Charge Jahirul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
