DHAKA: The verdict of the International Crimes Tribunal-1 would not be delivered Tuesday as Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami could not be produced before the tribunal due to illness.
Three members ICT-1 tribunal led by Justice Enayetur Rahim passed the order after hearing in this regard.
Earlier, Deputy Jailer of Central jail Md Lablu sent a letter to Registrar of the court in this regard 30 minutes prior to verdict saying Nizami fell sick suddenly early Tuesday and he can’t be produced before the court.
On Monday, ICT-1 fixed Tuesday for pronouncing verdict in war crimes case against Jamaat Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami.
