Bodies of 2 siblings handed over

DHAKA: The bodies of two bothers, those died in missile attack in Libya, were handed over to their relatives on Friday morning.

The bodies arrived at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Dhaka by a fight of Turkish Airlines at 6:45am of the day.

The deceased were Mohammad Milon and Mohammad Swapon, sons on Abdul Kuddus of Gosairhat upazila of Sahariatpur district.

Azharul Islam, joint secretary of the Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry, handed over the bodies to the family. The father received the bodies.

Azharul also handed over two cheques of Tk 35,000 to the father there and said a donation of Tk 3 lakhs would also be given from the wage earners’ welfare board to the family.

On 21 June, the brothers died in a missile attack at a residence camp of a water purification factory in Libyan city of Sama.
