DHAKA: The advance bus ticket sale is going to start after 15 Ramadan (July 14) as usual for home-bound people ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr.

Following the matter, Bangladesh bus-truck owners association (North & South) will sit in a special meeting on Sunday afternoon with managers of various transport companies.

Bangladesh bus-truck owners’ association working committee member Salauddin told banglanews the decision of advance ticket selling will be taken in the meeting.

In the meeting, special directions are likely to be given to maintain government fixed bus fares, he added.
