DHAKA: A truck driver was killed in a road accident in Dayaganj CNG station of Jatrabari in city on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Jasim Uddin, hailed from Patuakhali district.

Sources said that stopping truck the victim was walking in the area around 6:00am. Then a vehicle ran over him, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctor declared him dead. 

DMCH police out post In-charge Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
