DHAKA: US-Bangla Airlines has launched their flights on Wednesday promising modern aircrafts and developed services along with lowest fare.
Civil Aviation & Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon inaugurated the service of the airlines in VVIP terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 10.45 am.
The airlines started its journey operating two flights on Dhaka-Chittagong route and a flight on Dhaka-Jessore route.
Menon said the airlines should be punctual and they have to maintain discipline so that the young generations who join this profession with passion don’t dishearten.
Managing director of US-Bangla Abdullah-al-Mamun said “We have confidence that we will be successful.”
The airlines official said the flight would cost less than Tk 3,900, than the highest fare taken by NavoAir.
Fare for Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route is only Tk 5,000, Dhaka-Sylhet route Tk 3,200 and the fare of Dhaka-Jessore route is Tk 3,000.
The US-Bangla Airlines authorities said they stated the journey promising that they would provide luxurious services with modern aircrafts.
The passengers will felt little shake and sound. It will remain cool though the hot weather in outside, added Mamun.
The number of flights would be increased gradually, said authorities of the airlines.
Civil Aviation and Tourism secretary Khurshid Alam Chowdhury and chairman of Civil Aviation Authority Air-Vice Marshal Mahmud Hossian were present in the program.
