RANGPUR: Three Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal activists were killed in a road accident in Dulhapur in Mithapukur upazila on Tuesday evening.

The deceased were identified as Mizan, 26, son of Huda Mia from Tikli Dakkhin Para village of the upazila, Firoz, 25, son of Manju Mia from the same village and his cousin Arafat, 25.

Witness told banglanews that a rashly driven truck crushed into a motorbike on Rangpur-Dhaka highway, leaving two dead on the spot and another one injured critically.

The fatally injured another one succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.

In-charge of Baradargah Highway Police Camp Sub-Inspector Abdul Gani confirmed the matter.
