DHAKA: The government has chalked out an elaborate program to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the largest religious festivals of Muslims, in a befitting manner.

Preparations for holding the Eid congregations and celebrations are underway across the country, including the capital.

Islamic Foundation in a press release on Thursday said that as in the previous years, five Eid congregations will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 7:00am, 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am and 11:00am.

However, preparations have also been made for women so that they can participate in the Eid prayers at the National Mosque.
