DHAKA: A youth drowned in a lake in Chandrima Udyan in the city on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Kahar, 20.
Confirming the matter to banglanews, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Thana Sub-Inspector Hridoy Khan said, “On information, police recovered the body at 11:45pm Thursday and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.”
More details of the deceased could not be known yet, Hridoy added.
