DHAKA: The National Moon Sighting Committee will sit this evening to fix the date of Eid-Ul-Fitr after reviewing reports of sighting the Shawal moon from across the country.

The disclosure came from a press release of Islamic Foundation (IF) on Monday.

Religious Affairs Minister Principal Matiur Rahman, also chairman of the National Moon Sighting Committee, will preside over the meeting at conference room at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque complex in the city at 7:15pm.
