DHAKA: Police recovered two bodies from separate area of the capital on Monday.
In Khilgaon area, an unidentified woman was crushed under wheels of Kamalapur-bound intercity train from Chittagong in front of Rabeya Academy in the area around 10:00 am.
Confirming the incident, Officer-in-charge of Kamalapur Railway Thana Abdul Majid said the body was sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospitals (DMCH) for autopsy.
In Uttara, police recovered around 60-age-old woman’s body from a drain adjacent to APBn complex ground of the area at the same time.
Sub-inspector (SI) Shafiul Alam of Uttara East Thana confirmed the matter and said locals spotted the body and informed police.
Later, police rushed to the spot and sent it to the DMCH morgue for autopsy.
