ASHULIA, DHAKA: A female readymade garment worker who sustained injuries in the fire incident of Tazreen garment factory in city, died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Amina Begum.
Prior to the fire, Amena was working in the factory as helper. Noticing the flame, becoming panicked she jumped off from fifth floor, leaving injured her critically. From then, she was undergoing treatment.
Sources said that on November 24, 2012, a fire broke out at Tazreen Fashion, leaving 112 people killed and more than 200 burnt injured.
Later, the injured were rushed to the hospital where she died at 4:00am on Wednesday after two years.
