BOGRA: Two people were killed and four others injured as lightning struck them at Garidah union under Sherpur upazila of Bogra on Wednesday afternoon.
Of the deceased, one was identified as Tamanna, 12, daughter of Kamal Hossain.
Police sources said thunderbolt struck them while they were standing in front of their houses in between 2:30pm and 3:00pm, leaving Tamanna and the woman dead on the spot and four others injured critically.
Inspector (Investigation) of Sherpur Thana Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
