NARSINGDI: The government will provide smart card to the citizens with a view to making database of individuals.

Election Commissioner Brigadier General (retd) M Jabed Ali was addressing a view exchange meeting before inaugurating newly formed district server station here on Thursday.

“People will get smart card within a year,” he said.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abu Hena Morshed Zaman presided over the meeting.

District superintendent of police Sheikh Rafiqul Islam and additional DC Suraiya Begum also spoke on the occasion.
