2 more BD men die in Bahrain

MANAMA: Two more Bangladeshi workers, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) no-801302137 and 840177631, died in separate incidents in Manama, capital of Bahrain.

The deceased were identified as Abul Hossain, 34, son of Arab Ali, hailed from Nayachar village in Daudkandi upazila of Comilla district and Mohin Uddin, 30, son of Abul Kashem, hailed from Kashihata village in Begumganj upazila of Noakhali district.

Sources, wishing anonymity, told banglanews a machine fall on the right leg of Abul Hossain and amputated it while removing some heavy machines of the Magic Planet on the second floor of City Center Shopping Mall in Manama.

Abul Hossain succumbed to his injuries due to profuse bleeding on way to hospital, sources added.

Bangladesh Embassy sources said they communicated with the owner of Magic Planet and talked about compensation.

On the other hand, embassy sources said another worker Mohin Uddin died at Salmania Hospital of cardiac arrest.

Victim’s relatives said Mohin was suffering from cardiac diseases for a long time and was under medication.

Embassy sources said the bodies would be sent to the country as soon as possible.

On August 8, a Bangladeshi worker, Yunus Bepari, was killed in an accident in a Cement and Concrete Mixing Factory in the third largest city Al Muharraq of Bahrain.
