DHAKA: After one-hour effort, fire fighting team doused the fire at a garment factory in Mirpur Section-1 area of the capital on Sunday evening. 

The blaze started around 5:35pm in the factory’s 5th floor ‘Cordial Design’ at Salimuddin Market.

Being informed, some 13 units of fire fighting units rushed to the spot. After the frantic efforts, they doused the fire within an hour.

Deputy assistant director Mamun Mahmud of Fire Service monitored the activities.
