DHAKA: A devastating fire broke out at a readymade garment (RMG) factory’s depot in city’s Mughda area, at Manda Shesh Matha, on Friday afternoon.

Local sources said that the fire broke out at the Ethical Garment’s depot building in that area around 5:45pm.

On information, two units of fighters of Khilgaon Fire Services and Civil Defence rushed to the spot and doused the fire after half an hour effort.

However, confirming the matter to banglanews, Fire services’ head office telephone operator Ziaur Rahman said that the reason behind the fire could not be known.

No casualty has also been reported in the incident yet, he added.
