DHAKA: Bangladesh railway has started advance train tickets sale prior to Eid ul-Azha from Friday.

Sources told banglanews that the advanced train ticket sale started around 9.00am on the day first and it will continue till 5.00pm.

However, the advance tickets will be sold for five days ahead of the occasion, they added.

On the other hand, it has been seen that many people are waiting eagerly for a ticket since dawn.

Nevertheless, train tickets for departure dates October 1 to October 5 are available chronologically from Friday to Tuesday.

The return tickets will be available from October 3.

A person will be able to buy maximum four tickets.

Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated across the country on October 6.
