DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested five more people, including Kamal alias ‘Jawra Kamal’, a close aide of Kala Babu, the key accused in sensational Moghbazar triple murder case.

Besides Kamal, the other detainees are Raju, Opu, Sohel and Billal.

RAB sources said the law enforcers detained them from different places of Dhaka city and Munshiganj district on Friday night.

RAB personnel also seized two pistols and six rounds of bullets from their possession.

They were allegedly involved in the killing mission, RAB sources added.

On August 28, Kala Babu and his aides allegedly killed three people over capturing a piece of illegal land in city’s Moghbazar area.

RAB-3 deputy commanding officer Major Mohiuddin confirmed the matter in a press conference at RAB-3 headquarters on Saturday around 3:00pm.
