DHAKA: Three persons including a minor were killed and 30 others injured in a road accident on Bonpara-Hatikumrul highway in Rathuria area under Baraigram upazila of the district on Friday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police sources said that a passenger bus plunged into a roadside ditch in the area around 3:00pm, leaving three persons dead on the spot and 30 others injured critically.

Officer-in-Charge of Baraigram Thana Monirul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
