DHAKA: People from various districts of the country have been observing Eid-ul-Adha, the second largest religious festival of the Muslims, on Saturday synchronizing the day with Saudi Arabia.
Eid-ul-Adha is being observed in 40 villages of Chandpur, in 10 villages of Laxmipur, around 30,000 villagers from 25 villages in Patuakhali and a few thousand people from Barisal districts.
Sources said the followers of Hanafi Madhhab from Bangladesh observe the eid on the day when Saudi Arabians observe it.
