COMILLA: Rail communication between Nokhali and Comilla came to a halt after a passenger train derailed in Dakkhin Auta area in Laksham upazila of the district Saturday evening.

Four wheels of a compartment of the Nokhali-bound Samatat Express veered off the track around 7:15pam that snapped rail movement on Comilla-Noakhali route.

Confirmed the matter to banglanews, Government Railway Police Laksham Thana Officer-In-Charge Ahsan Habib said, a relief train has already began rescue works.
