GAIBANDHA: Two women were killed in a road accident in Theltheli Bazar under Sundarganj upazila at 6:45am Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Rajena Begum, 30, wife of one Habil Uddin and Nazma Begum, 22, wife of Farid Uddin. They were cousins.
UP chairman ATM Mahabub Alam said, they were sitting beside road in front their house. At that time, a pick up van ran over them when its driver lost control over steering, leaving them dead on the spot.
Officer-in-Charge of Sundarganj Thana Mozammel Haq confirmed the matter to banglanews.
