FENI: Three people were killed and five others injured in a road crash in South Chhanua area of Feni Bypass on Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Sunday morning. 

Of the deceased, two were identified as Mamun, 17 and Josna, 36. 

Police said that a Chittagong-bound bus hit a roadside tree and turned turtle as its diver lost control over the steering in the area around 7:30am, leaving the three dead on the spot and injured five others. 

Confirming the matter, Mohipal Highway police outpost In-Charge Sub-Inspector Saleh Ahmed Pathan told banglanews that the injured were sent to Feni Sadar and nearby hospitals.
