MH370 flight: No to Tk40 lakhs compensation

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman denied some $5,000 equal to Tk 40 lakhs as compensation for lost husband who was on board in the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370).

Dennisa Wix, wife of Australia citizen Paul Wix, disagreed to take the compensation and told that it is necessary to know about the fate of MH370 flight for all of us.

No compensation is enough for this loss, and justice can not be compensated by any amount of money, said Dennisa.

The Malaysian authorities said the compensation has been proposed taking account a positive attitude and the MH370 victims’ families have their own choice whether they will accept compensation.

The MH370 flight, carrying 239 passengers, has gone missing on its way to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur on March 8. The authorities claimed the flight may end its journey on the South Indian Ocean.
