DHAKA: The body of BRAC University Professor Dr Piash Karim has been taken to Baitul Mukarram mosque for second Namaz-e-Janaza in city on Friday.
Later, the body will be buried at Banani graveyard followed by second janaza at Baitul Mukarram after Juhr prayers.
Earlier in the day, Piash Karim’s body was taken to his Dhanmondi residence from Square Hospital mortuary and his namaz-e-janaza was held at Baitul Aman Jame Mosque there.
On October 13, BRAC University Professor Dr Piash Karim had died of cardiac arrest at Square Hospital in the capital.
