LONDON: A Bangladeshi expatriate was shot dead by miscreants at North East Lincolnshire in Grimsby town of London on Tuesday. 

The deceased was identified as Maulana Zubayer Hamidi, 50, a former Imam of East London man park mosque.

Police said that on information police rushed to Freeman Street of Grimsby and found the dead around 8:00am and the law enforcers detained a suspected in this connection. 

A reliable source said seeing the bullet injured victim, Hamidi’s brother called police station. Later, police detained victim’s brother.
