MUNSHIGNAJ:  Four people were killed in a road accident in Jamaldi bus stand area adjacent to Meghna Bridge on Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Wednesday noon.

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said a cement-laden truck rammed into an auto rickshaw in the area around 15:45pm, leaving four passengers of the auto-rickshaw dead on the spot.

Bhaber char highway police sergeant Saiful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
