DHAKA: The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained five people along with three foreign made pistol, three magazine, 83 rounds of bullet and domestic weapons from city’s Paltan area on Monday.

A special team of RAB-3 conducted drive and detained them in the afternoon.

However, the identity of the detainees could not be known immediately.

Assistant director of RAB (legal and media) Major Maksudul Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews. 

The detailed will be disclosed in a press conference later, he added.
