NETROKONA: A district court sentenced three people on Thursday to life imprisonment for killing a rickshaw puller.

The court also fined each of them Tk 50,000, in default, ordered them to serve five more years in jail. 

Additional district judge Abdul Hamid pronounced the verdict in the morning.

The convicts are Harmoj Ali, son of Wazed Ali, resident of Adhpur village under Sadar upazila, Abdur Rashid, son of a late Kadar Ali, resident of the same village and his brother Alkas Uddin.

Additional public prosecutor Saiful Islam Pradip said the trio killed rickshaw puller Abul Kalam on October 9, 2005 following past feud.
