MAGURA: Three persons were killed and 10 others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Khulna highway in Kalinagar area on Monday morning.

Two of the deceased was identified Nazrul Islam, 35, resident of Kacherkol area under Shoilokpa upazila of Jhenaidah and Jillur Rahman, 38, son of one Charu matobbor of Manikganj.

Witnesses said a Benapole-bound bus of S Alam Paribahan turned turtle in the area when a rashly driven truck knocked it from behind at 9:00am, leaving three dead and 10 injured.

Constable of Sadar Thana Rashidul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
