1 held with 4.4kg gold at Shahjalal

DHAKA: Customs Intelligence detained a person with 4.4kg gold from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday noon.

The detainee--Riazul Haque, 35--came from Saudi Arab.

Confirming the matter, customs assistant commissioner Ruhul Amin said Riazul was held while he was crossing green channel and the gold was recovered from his hand bag after checking.
