LAXMIPUR: Two youths were killed in a road accident in Women College area on Roypur-Laxmipur road Sunday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as M Shakil, 17, son of Belal Hossain and Azim, 18, son of Nasiruddin of Sadar upazila. Both of them were workers of Yusuf Metal Workshop.

Laxmipur Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge M Iqbal Hossain told banglanews that a rashly-driven truck ran over Shakil and Azim in the area while they returning their workplace after taking bath a nearby pond, leaving them dead on the spot.

The bodies were taken to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital morgue.
