DHAKA: Three siblings, including two teenage sisters, sustained burnt injuries as a fire broke out at a house in Pargendaria of South Keraniganj, on outskirts of capital, early Thursday.

The injured --Shaheen, 26, and his two sisters Taslima, 16, and Achia, 15--were admitted at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.

Condition of them is critical, said sources of the hospital.

Locals said the fire originated from gas burner blast due a leakage in supply line at 5:30am when Taslima tried to ignite it, injuring the three siblings critically. 

South Keraniganj Thana Sub-Inspector Ashraf confirmed the matter to banglanews.
