GAZIPUR: Blockaders hacked a police official near to Bhogra police outpost in the metropolitan early Wednesday.

Injured M Sabbir Hossain, a constable of police, was admitted to National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (Pangu Hospital)

Some miscreants intercepted him in the area at 4:30am and hacked him randomly while he was returning office after discharging duty.

Gazipur Sadar hospital on-duty senior brother M Habibur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said Sabbir Hossain’s body bore several injury marks.

Joydebpur duty officer Sub Inspector Fouzia Begum said a police man sustain injuries. Details could not be known yet.
