CHITTAGONG: A man was killed and four others injured as a train hit a passenger bus at Ispahani rail gate in the port city on Thursday.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-in-Charge of GRP Thana Himangsu said Ctg-bound Meghna Express hit a bus in the area at 11:00am, leaving one dead and others injured.

The accident halted rail communication of Chittagong with other parts of country for about half-an-hour.

Besides, a 3-member probe body has been formed over the accident.
