CHITTAGONG: A man was crushed under the wheels of a speedy truck in Ispahani gate area under Khulshi thana in the city Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Nurul Islam, 50.

Sub-Inspector Mohammad Ali of Khulshi thana said a truck ran over Islam, a father of two sons, at around 9am while crossing the road in Ispahani gate area.

He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he died at around 11.
