3 Bangladeshis held on Hili frontier

HILI (DINAJPUR): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) held three Bangladeshi youths from Hili frontier as they allegedly attempted to enter India illegally.

The youths, identified as Bidyut, son of Abdul Latif of Hakimpur upazila, Farhaduzzaman, son of Saiful Islam of Rangpur sadar upazila and Tariqul Islam, son of Shamsul Islam of Birampur, were nabbed from Kamalgate of Hili Railway Station at 3:30pm on Thursday.

BGB Hili CP Camp Commander Nayek Subedar Abdul Jabbar told banglanews that on a tiff-off, they conducted the drive to nab the youths who were attempting to enter India illegally.

The detainees were handed over to Hakimpur Thana as a case had been filed against them, the BGB camp commander added.
