DHAKA: A minor schoolboy was killed when a wall collapsed on him at TSC of Dhaka University campus on Tuesday.

The victim Jakaria Hossain, 11, was student of Class III of Neelkhet School. His father is a Class III staff of the university and lives near TSC.

Shahbag Thana source said the TSC boundary wall collapsed on Jakaria at 11:45 am as he was coming out from his house. He was rushed to University Hospital where on duty doctors declared him dead.

Police sent his body to morgue for autopsy.

Office-in charge of Shahbag police station Rezaul Karim said a case was filed with Shahbag police station.
