DHAKA: At least seven people, including an engineer, sustained severe burn injures in a boiler explosion at a steel mill in the city’s Shyampur area on Wednesday.

Witnesses said a boiler of Hasan Steel Mills exploded with a big sound at about 11am, leaving the seven injured. They were admitted to the Burn Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Condition of three was stated to be critical’, hospital sources said.
