DHAKA: City mayor Annisul Huq said that the corporation has made a target to remove the waste of sacrificial animals by 30 hours.

The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayor made this assertion at a press conference at Mohakhali Community Centre in city on Tuesday afternoon.

He said that as many as 340 workers and 57 trucks have kept ready to clear the waste within 30 hours.

The corporation will provide facilities for smooth sacrifice of cattle at 279 points in DNCC area. Imams and butchers will stay at the points to cooperate the devotees, he added.

He also sought cooperation from city dwellers.
