11-member DB body to probe Tavella murder

DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Wednesday formed an 11-member committee of Detective Branch (DB) to investigate the murder of Italian aid worker Cesare Tavella in Dhaka.

DMP deputy commissioner (media) Muntasirul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews around 2:45pm.

He further said DB deputy commissioner (DMP east) Mahbub Alam will lead the investigation team.

DMP also has boosted security in the diplomatic zone, he added.
